1. Who we are
Anima is a massage, kinesiotherapy and beauty centre in Sofia. We are responsible for the personal data you give us through this website, by phone or in person at the centre, and we process it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act.

2. What data we collect
We only collect what we cannot serve you without:
- When you order a voucher: your full name, email, phone, the “To” and “From” names you write on the voucher, and an address or courier office if you want delivery.
- When you pay by card: your card details never reach us – we never see or store them.
- When you book an appointment: name, phone, email and the chosen day, time and service.
- When you write to us or call: whatever you choose to share with us.
- Technical data: your IP address – to show you the site in the right language and to protect against misuse. We do not track which pages you view.
We do not collect health information through the website. If you tell your therapist something about your health at the centre, it is used only to keep the treatment safe.
3. The notifications you will receive
We want you to know in advance: when you order a voucher or book an appointment, you will receive several messages from us. They are part of the service – through them we send you the voucher, confirm your payment and appointment, and let you know about any changes.
- A confirmation email as soon as we receive your order.
- An email with your voucher (a PDF with a personal QR code) once the payment goes through.
- A call or message from our team if we need to clarify something about your order, delivery or appointment.
The emails come from an animacenter.bg address. If you cannot see them, check your Spam and Promotions folders.
News and offers – only if you want them
Separately, only if you tick this yourself when ordering, we may also write to you about offers, new services and events at the centre. This is optional and does not affect your order. You can opt out at any time with a one-line email or a phone call.
4. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- To fulfil your order – to create and send the voucher, accept payment, book an appointment and deliver by courier (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Because the law requires it – accounting and tax records of payments (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- For security – protection against fraud and misuse of the forms and vouchers (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- News and offers – only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. Only the services we need to fulfil your order have access to it, as well as public authorities when the law requires.
5. How long we keep your data
- Orders and vouchers – while the voucher is valid and for 1 year afterwards, so that we can help with any question or dispute.
- Payment records – as long as the law requires (under the Bulgarian Accountancy Act – up to 10 years).
- Consent to news and offers – until you withdraw it.
After that, the data is deleted.
6. Cookies
The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It uses only the necessary ones:
- Language – remembers the language you view the site in (Bulgarian, English or French), for 1 year.
- Payment – only in the payment window, for payment security.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings – the website will keep working.
7. Your rights
At any time you can ask us for:
- access – to tell you what data we hold about you;
- rectification – if something is wrong;
- erasure – except what the law requires us to keep;
- restriction of processing or objection to it;
- portability – your data in a convenient format;
- withdrawal of consent to news and offers.
Write to the email above or call us – we reply within 1 month, usually much sooner. If you believe we are infringing your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg, 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, Sofia 1592).
8. Security
The website works only over a secure connection, and order data is accessible only to our team.
9. Children
Only adults may place orders through the website. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change the way we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will notify you if we have an order from you.
